Who doesn't love PB&Js? For weight gaining purposes adding these daily is an excellent way to add extra calories. I remember eating these all the time after I moved to the U.S. in 2009. I could not believe these did not exist where I am from. 

These ones, however, I tried to steer on the healthier side by making it higher fiber and using whole grains, a homemade jam, and packing the almond butter with protein from the Casein. I think you will find it tasty!

Yields1 Serving

INGREDIENTS

 2 slices Whole Grain Bread (I use Dave Killer's Bread)
 3 tbsp Almond Butter
 5 Strawberries, sliced
 1 scoop Casein (1/2 serving)
 ¼ cup water
 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
 1 Banana, Large

DIRECTIONS

In a bowl add strawberries and maple syrup. Heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes

Using a fork, mash the mixture until obtaining your own strawberry jam/jelly

In a separate bowl add Almond butter (or peanut butter, casein), Casein, and water and mix well until soft consistency.

Assemble PB&J by adding a layer of nut butter, sliced bananas, and a layer of strawberry jam and repeating one more time.

Cut sandwich in half and BOOM!
